On Black allows you to very, very simply show the world what your beautiful photographs or images or anything look like over the full glory of a black background.
I dunno, there's probably some science where the higher the gamma the more wonderfully stimulated your brain is when you view an image.
Who knows, but what I do know is that most photographs just look better when put on black rather than submitted to a bright, white background
of a monstrosity.
